Error fetching FlexSearch

Hi all,

I've been trying to get this theme running on a quick start hugo site.
The build fails with the following error:

Watching for changes in /src/{archetypes,assets,content,data,i18n,layouts,static,themes}
Watching for config changes in /src/hugo.toml, /src/themes/hextra/hugo.toml
ERROR Could not retrieve FlexSearch js file from https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/dist/flexsearch.bundle.debug.js. Reason: template: _partials/scripts/search.html:12:26: executing "_partials/scripts/search.html" at <resources.GetRemote>: error calling GetRemote: open /cache/src/filecache/getresource/12354019010354757432: no such file or directory.

I can access the same url just file.
I do see that the problem appears to be with 'no such file or directory', but I don't know how it gets to this path in the first place.

The above is run using docker. I ran hugo from desktop in the same dir and get a different error:

$ hugo server

I have tried setting environment to production, but except the url returning a non-debug file, the error is the same.

I believe there's an option to provide the flexsearch js file locally so it will skip the download

there was a 'flexsearch.9f5b5908f93ae86f1ecd4b043b799f580c2d1654e703dd9357d568ac41b2547a.js' in 'public/js', but renaming that to 'flexsearch.js' didn't make a difference either

I kept thinking about this part:

error calling GetRemote: open /cache/src/filecache/getresource/12354019010354757432: no such file or directory

Beside a dozen other things, I've tried adding

    environment:
      HUGO_CACHEDIR: /tmp

This seems to have resolved the issue. I'm not sure I understand why, but here we are.
