The bugWithin the deployment process I set the following as environment variable:
and receive the following error whenever starting immich_server: `[Nest] 7 - 12/23/2024, 1:50:16 PM LOG [NestFactory] Starting Nest application... [Nest] 7 - 12/23/2024, 1:50:16 PM ERROR [TypeOrmModule] Unable to connect to the database. Retrying (1)... microservices worker exited with code 1` Whenever I set DB_PASSWORD to default "postgres" it's working and the immich_server is fully starting. Looks like just immich_server is affected as the other containers are starting in any case as they should. I wonder if "postgres" as password is a default value within the image of immich_server and it's not being overwritten by the .env-variable? Sorry if my description is not perfect, as I'm not a developer, trying my best :-) Merry Christmas! The correct password must be set on initial startup of the DB, since that's the when this stuff is configured. If you later want to change it you need to do that manually in the DB |

You have commented out the env_file from being passed to the immich server. How do you expect it to pick up the env var for the password? |

I’m not interested in wasting my time debating docker basics. Please follow our portainer guide: https://immich.app/docs/install/portainer/
I’m closing this as the answer has been provided but if you have continued issues after trying the recommended way feel free to reply with more screenshots.
