I think I possibly may have messed up when I initially setup the external library i forgot to add my exclusion path for the raw photos:
**/.RW2
**/.rw2
But I stopped the import scan and added the exclusion paths the continued the scan. I've deleted some photos here and there and just after running a 'empty trash' on a handful of photos all of my .rw2 files appeared in the trash. the following red error box appears when you click one of the raw images:
Asset Offline
This external library asset is no longer found on disk and has been moved to trash. If the file was moved within the library, check your timeline for the new corresponding asset. To restore this asset, please ensure that the file path below can be accessed by Immich and scan the library.
/mnt/media//.RW2
Restore all does not restore them or remove them from the temp trash.
At this point I am going to make the external drive Read Only but any assistance in clearing this issue would be appreciated. Preferably with retaining the raw image exclusion as it doubles the library size and adds no benefit to any of my end users.
