Immich managed directories

I have 4 Immich managed directories. 3 actual people and 1 administrator directory that I've uploaded all of our previously merged assets into.

For some unknown to me reason, Immich has recreated the 3 people folders a level up from where they were, so I now have half of my assets in library/person and the other half in library/library/person.

My question is this. Once I figure out what caused the files to be sent to the wrong directory, am I able to simply move the other files to that directory and Immich will automatically pick them up? Or will I have to go through the CLI upload process again?

This sounds like something changed with the container mounts. Yes, it should be fine to just merge things after that's fixed.

The only thing I changed was to start up the machine-learning container on a different pc. It shouldn't have known about my mount points as far as I know. It's still a bit of a mystery to me how it happened. Worst case I'll just start again from my backup. Thanks for responding btw.

If I may also ask, what is the correct folder structure for personal folders? I couldn't find it in a quick web search. Library/library/person seems odd but it's what my default immich container wanted. I would have expected library/person instead. Just want to check I'm not tripping.

Inside of your UPLOAD_LOCATION there are multiple folders, one of which is called library, so if your UPLOAD_LOCATION points to a folder that's also called that you will end up with library/library/.
