Influxdb3.2.1 Enterprise Docker Compose Error "Cannot Prompt for Email"

Steps to reproduce:

1. 2. Portainer Logs says: Catalog initialized with uuid: 'removed' and storage hash: 'sha256:removed'
   Serve command failed: License management error: No interactive TTY detected. Cannot prompt for email.

Expected behaviour:
Open the Setup for Influxdb3

Actual behaviour:
Nothing only the above Error

Environment info:
Portainer: 2.27.9LTS Business Edition

• Please provide the command you used to build the project, including any RUSTFLAGS.
• System info: Run uname -srm or similar and copy the output here (we want to know your OS, architecture etc).
• If you're running IOx in a containerised environment then details about that would be helpful.
• Other relevant environment details: disk info, hardware setup etc.

Config:
Copy any non-default config values here or attach the full config as a gist or file.

Logs:
Include snippet of errors in logs or stack traces here.
Sometimes you can get useful information by running the program with the RUST_BACKTRACE=full environment variable.
Finally, the IOx server has a -vv for verbose logging.

I'm facing same issue. You didn't write if you are fine with a workaround for time being. Using the serve command you could bring the container up. I tested and got a email confirming the 30 day trail period.

command in portainer:

Hey @Starfoxfs - I've opened an issue with our docs team about this, but the env var used in the example is incorrect. It should be INFLUXDB3_ENTERPRISE_LICENSE_EMAIL.

I have added tty: true to the Docker Compose then i get a License Prompt but in the Logs of Portainer.

I dont think InfluxDB3 can run in Portainer Software for first Licensing or have to be fixed for this.

There is no way to run InfluxDB3 from Portainer because you cant enter something if the License Setup Appears.

In Portainer the License Setup Appears in Logs but you cant enter something in the Logs ...

@Starfoxfs - are you attempting to run with a home or trial license? If so, then I think what is needed is a feature that allows one to specify that choice up front, e.g., --license-type,

influxdb3 --license-email my.email@example.com --license-type home

That way, the choice is made without needing an interactive terminal, and the confirmation email would be sent to my.email@example.com automatically, allowing activation of the license, and start of the server without doing anything in the terminal.

Otherwise, if going for a commercial license, at the moment, you would need to reach out to sales@influxdata.com to get a license file (which can be used without an interactive terminal via the --license-file argument in Enterprise).

Let me know if you see any issues with that, but I can open a ticket in our internal Enterprise repo to track that work.

I attempt to run it as a Enterprise Home License.

Yes something is needed to set the License Type e.g. Home in my case before running this Container. So we dont need a Input with Keyboard.
