some additional context on what an IAB program is:

Traditionally the IAB has taken an interest in a number of architectural areas that require long-term perspective and may involve various activities and deliverables. The IAB has organized the work in such areas in the form of programs to enable long term activities scoped and managed by the IAB, while allowing non-IAB members with the required expertise to participate and contribute to the work.
