Web layout issue after moving

Dear all,

I've decided to try to move my inventree (docker) to a different host. Following the "migrating data" guide, I was able to import succesfully the data, and get the new instance working (login ,etc) except the web layout (see picture).

Note: Before the migration I've also copied the media folder in the new instance (not considered in the guide).

May ask you suggestion about this issue?

with that limited amount of information we cannot really help you, I can only guess.
Have you also run invoke update so that the static files get collected?

So please provide the errors from the browser console (macOS: CMD+Option+I, windows: F12).

The new instance has been setup with the invoke update as per manual and then up -d.

The logs looks good here some extract:

Sorry have forgot to say, the "Console" and "Network" tab in the browser devtools is the most helpful here. So please provide a screenshot from both of them. And for the network tab it would be good if you could click on a read request before taking the screenshot.

And regarding the provided server logs I cannot see something wrong there.

The problem may be that the CSS and media files are not served via /static - depending on setup, it may be via a proxy (Docker: nginx previously, Caddy in newer versions..)

Check if you can reach the CSS files directly on your server:

Quick update, now looks good after cleaning the browser cache... but I'm not entirely convinced to move on to the new instance. Considering the amount of work spent to create the inventory.

Considering that the tool is great but a bit overcomplex in my view, especially for non expert people (like me), I've two last question:

1. What are the minimum docker required for a working, very basic installation? Worker, redis, proxy are mandatory needed?
2. I'ts possible to use an existing nginx instance and/or an existing centralized postgres instance?

For 2, yes custom setup is possible but requires significant domain knowledge. That is not covered by our documentation or free support
