Bug description

While new versions of Electron have added support for the new M1 processor in Apple's latest Macs, Trinity may not run properly on those processors due to the use of SSE2 instructions (which are only supported by Intel and AMD) in the optimized Proof-of-Work algorithm.

Hardware specification

Any computer using Apple Silicon

A good solution for users in the meantime is to enable remote proof of work in the node settings.
