Rename Symbol Does Nothing to a Function

Basically, what is said in the title.

I have a .psm1 module with a function in it. When I try to rename the function with F2, an interface for renaming appears, but nothing happens when I press Enter after renaming.

If it's not supported, the interface shouldn't even appear. As it is, it's misleading.

I've found the same thing, with the exception that the one time I remember it working, it renamed the symbol in everything I had open within my workspace (and some things that weren't open), which was... less than ideal. fortunately I was able to revert everything thanks to Git, but that's definitely dangerous behavior. perhaps once it's fixed, a setting to control scope would be in order? e.g. current, open, folder, workspace, etc., besides local/global/script.
