Description

The BPM2025 website is not appearing in DuckDuckGo search results, even when using specific keywords and exact-match queries. This issue impacts discoverability and may affect user acquisition through organic search traffic. The same page is indexed and ranked normally on Google.

Steps to reproduce (DuckDuckGo)

• Go to https://duckduckgo.com/.
• Enter exact-match search query: "site:https://www.bpm2025seville.org"
• Observe that no results from the domain appear.

Steps to reproduce (Bing)

• Go to https://bing.com/.
• Enter exact-match search query: "site:https://www.bpm2025seville.org"
• Observe that no results from the domain appear.

Expected Behavior:

Relevant pages from bpm2025seville.org should appear in DuckDuckGo and Bing search results for exact match queries and keywords.

Actual Behavior:

No pages from the bpm2025 conference domain are returned in the DuckDuckGo and Bing search results, regardless of the specificity of the query.

Hello @AntonioRodriguezRuiz Thank you very much for your time in opening this issue!

This is something I'm aware of. I have added the webpage to both Google's and Bing's search consoles. Google is fine and tells us that our sitemap and meta tags are great for SEO (you can even check this publicly by using PageSpeedInsights, we score 100 in the SEO area).

The problem with Bing (which is also the source for DuckDuckGo) is that it got indexed first the Cloudflare deployments first. My guess is that given our main website was equal to those and from a reputable domain (pages.dev probably has better scores than bpm2025seville.org), ours never got indexed. It took a bit of effort to remove those old deployments from the search results, but they finally did it. After that, I've been sending indexation requests over and over, but they still don't make the website accessible for some reason. I even sent them a support request about it but all I got was silence.

Over time I check the console and try to make some commits to make the website more "appealing" for Bing (some of the suggestions are ridiculous and we can't implement them, like making the page title way shorter). Bing is also famous for having ridiculously large wait times for indexing (Google can do it twice a week, while Bing takes months).

For all the reasons listed above, I don't attempt to improve this and verify the search console as frequently, because it's completely out of my control and even Bing themselves refused to acknowledge the reason/provide assistance. It's basically my last priority.

I will take the chance of this issue to take a look now and reindex again. It's been 2 months since all the old CF Pages deployments were purged and maybe requesting a reindexing now again makes the trick.
