I've noticed this before, but the maps that Pleiades shows for places can sometimes be overly zoomed out. I think this happens because places that are "located near" the identified place are included. It may happen with other relationships, too. For example, here's Leptis Magna in the image. Zliten, down the coast a bit, results in Leptis being way up in the corner. I'd suggest that either not including in the map places with this relationship or setting some kind of maximum distance (which would be much more work, I realize) would be preferable.
