Hi, sorry for the inconvenience.
I have been using the Juggluco App for 2/3 months. I would like to ask and better understand how to read and interpret the lengths of the Juggluco trend arrows next to the values of the running sensor. I am having a bit of difficulty at the moment because it is not very understandable for me, but I don't think I am the only one in reality. Basically the trend proposed by the Juggluco arrows seem to differ (both downhill and uphill) only with respect to how long the shaft of the arrow is. So if it is very long it suggests rapid increases/decreases in blood glucose, but I don't understand how to interpret the other lengths also because there are many of them. Which is not a problem, on the contrary...
The critical point for me (but I don't think I'm the only one) is exactly this, I find it difficult to effectively notice a difference in the length of the arrow shaft when it changes from medium increment/decrement to slower increment/decrement (or the opposite), or when it is in a more increased phase... basically I can never understand if it is a medium or fast speed (or close to the same). Personally I think that adding a color code to the arrow, as the length of the arrow shaft varies, would be very helpful to avoid confusion and correctly interpret what is happening.
I am thinking for example of: a Green color that could include all the minimum possible inclinations of the arrows with the shorter shaft (i.e. the smaller arrows) that indicate that nothing sudden is happening; a shade of Green that goes into Blue instead when the arrow begins to incline slightly more when the variation is faster; a Blue color (or similar) when the arrow indicates a medium and sustained speed of increase/decrease of the trend; Violet (or similar) when the increase/decrease speed is very fast.
It's just an idea of course, I don't know how difficult it would be to implement because I don't have any computer skills in this regard but I don't think it's too difficult.
But i think implementing a color code on the trend arrows could be very useful to make it easier to understand what's happening, because I find it very inconvenient to only look at the length of the arrow shaft (which can be easily misunderstood) to understand what's actually happening, and I think implementing a color code for the arrows is extremely functional (maybe even a great improvement of the graphical interface).
Could there be a chance that this will be taken into consideration by the developers?
I think that users will appreciate it a lot, I would definitely vote positively because it would help a lot more than now when you have to pay attention (failing most of the time) to understand how long the tail of the arrow is, and I think a color code would effectively solve this aspect (maybe with a switch button you could leave the user the possibility to activate it or not).
Thank you for your attention 🙏🏻 and time, and I hope for a positive response, or at least an elucidating interaction to delve deeper into this aspect.
