Hi, I'm new to Linux so please forgive the n00bness. I'd like to try your GUI for AppArmor. On the installation for Ubuntu it has - Install commands (Ubuntu) On a basic level is that all I need to do, or do I need to do all the instructions underneath too? I'm only looking to use it, not all the compilation stuff! |

For the time being, we don't have any pre-compiled packages released. So, unfortunately, the only way to install AppAnvil is to build it yourself. This should hopefully change in the coming months. I want to try and get this program in the official Debian repositories (which will eventually trickle down to Ubuntu). It would also probably be a good idea for me to publish a Debian package here on GitHub. A while ago, I experimented with automated builds using Open Build Service, but those releases are very outdated. |
