Links working in repo but broken on GitHub Pages

I noticed an issue with the repository documentation: some links work correctly when viewed directly in the GitHub repository but appear broken on the GitHub Pages site.

Specifically:

The introductory section contains links that are functional in the repository but do not appear on the Pages site.
The same issue occurs with the in-text Table of Contents links, both on the CellMap Segmentation Challenge page.
