Hold down the mouse on the node
When you "mouse up" to disabled node,
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'dataset')
An error occurs.

Hold down the mouse on the node
When you "mouse up" to disabled node,

What do you mean by that? Some kind of "drag and drop".

If I click and drag a node I end up with a "Uncaught TypeError: e.closest(...) is null". I guess this is caused that the underlying click element has a different target element then.
