Option to use .edgerc file on disk

This is more of a feature request.

It would be great if you had the option to use an existing .edgerc file on disk.

In my case I am not using any secrets directly in the repository but using GCP Workload Identity Federation to bring back the .edgerc file and I subsequently write it to disk (avoiding having to use it in variables).
