Cannot connect to an hpc using duo connect push

Hi,

I have been trying to use open-remote-shh in vscodium to connect to an hpc that use first a password and then a push notification in the Duo Connect app.

I can enter the host name, then it prompt me for the password, but then instead of getting the message to send the push notification I get asked to enter the password again. What is weird is that sometimes if I re-enter the password I end up getting the message asking for the push notification and even when I do that it still fails to connect.

I am not sure what is happening here, any ideas ?

I am working form an Ubuntu laptop.
