It did exist. :) I removed it because there was issues with it. I have not had time to work out the issues so I can add it back. I have not noticed any issues with my Plex server changing my posters. I will look into options to help prevent this as well. Thanks |

Could either of these (i just unchecked them) have caused my issue? I just got done manually sending posters from posteria to plex one by one and i cannot go through that again. |

Did you get this sorted with Plex config changes? I am not sure I want to add back the bulk export since it really shouldn't be needed and if the user is using the Auto Import it would not really be helpful if Plex keeps changing. Posteria is designed to consider Plex as the |

So far it has not happened again. I’m not sure how definitive that is insane. It was the Plex confide change that fixed it or if it was something else in my stack we would have to wait and see if it happens again. I do understand what you’re saying about the export feature. I wonder if that could be added as a console command rather than in the webGUI. I do understand what you’re saying, but when we upload our posters, it gets saved in our postErica config folder, and synced to Plex, but as you can see if anything ever happens on the Plex side, we would still have all those custom posters in our folder so a way to push them back to Plex Does seem to make sense. And I disabled auto sync for this reason when you still had that button, my process was like so I would manually export everything to Plex to make sure the two instances were in sync and then I would do an import so that I got any new posters. |

I dont want to keep beating a dead horse as you have already statd your position but couldnt posteria "lock" movie posters? You can see this causes me much distrass im sure at somepoint for some reason plex will change posters, for me and other users and a way to send our custom posteria posters back to plex seems like a needed feature. You use case is perfect i get the point of posteria but if we are doing all the work on the posteria side, why, why would plex be the source of truth? I am setting the posters on posteria, that now makes posteria the source of truth. Posteria has made my life much better but thats where i spend all my time, thats where the work is being done. Does that make sense? |

I have just released an update to Posteria that should help with the issue of posters changing in Plex. I have added explicit poster locking to Postera. So now when you change a poster in Posteria the poster will be locked in Plex. This is transparent to the user since Plex doesn't expose the poster locking to the Plex Web UI. So now if you change a poster in Posteria it should be locked and prevent Plex from changing it. It doesn't prevent other tools that use the Plex API from changing it, but it should prevent Plex from changing it during any metadata refreshes. I am going to close this discussion since this should fix the issue. Thanks! |

I swear this used to exist.
Plex seems to keep changing posters from time to time, no idea why, i need to be able to mass send all posteria posters to plex, doing it movie by movie is very time conusming.
