Thanks @Anqui3tas for you interest in Posteria. I don't have any plans for creating an API. Posteria uses Plex API endpoints for updating posters. If you are looking to do something similar I would recommend looking into the Plex API directly. I simply wanted a way to more easily update my posters. In fact it started with a way to update my Collection posters and then I added the ability to update any poster since it was the same process. I wish you luck with your project! |

Hello!
Are there any current plans to implement an exposed API?
While the PWA is very handy, having a structured API would help integrating this project into other tools and platforms. For example, I’ve been developing Icarus, an iOS/tvOS/visionOS app that integrates with Radarr, Sonarr, Overseerr, download clients, and indexers.
One highly requested feature from my users is improved poster and collection management. While Kometa can handle this, it’s YAML-based and lacks a user-friendly UI, making it impractical to integrate directly. Your project could fill that gap by exposing endpoints for poster management, allowing apps like mine to build rich, native experiences around it.
I’d be happy to help outline potential endpoints and possible JSON based responses if that would assist in scoping the work or potential implementation.
