Hello, I can't merge or rebase from lazygit, I have this red message in the status bar at the bottom when trying to:

Disabled: you are currently neither rebasing nor merging

I can perform merge/rebase action from the CLI, it seems to me that it is a lazygit issue and not a git status issue. I have tried to find the way to reactivate the option but could not do it. I have also, uninstalled/deleted config files + reinstalled, still got the issue.

can someone help on that matter ?

How are you trying to start the rebase? It seems to me like you're getting that message because you're trying to continue a rebase?

Hello, it happened in a context of a merge, not a rebase, so I'm not sure this is it. Can I do something to check this ?

@kidp8479 It sounds to me like you are trying to use the m command to initiate a merge or rebase. That's not what this is for, it is for when you are in the middle of a merge or rebase (e.g. because there were conflicts).

To initiate a merge, use M (with shift).
