[Question] Adding .jj into the root .gitignore

I was wondering if it make sense to add .jj inside the toplevel .gitignore file. I was reading this:

But this assume we have a .jj/ folder. I mean to add it in the root level:
echo '.jj' > .gitignore

Does this make sense?

I you aren't using jj, I don't think it would make sense to add .jj to .gitignore. If you're using .jj, the ignore file should be created automatically.
