org-noter integration

Is it possible to add a specific note created by org-noter to a cite link like: [cite:citeKey note:filePath/nameOfNote], so that when clicking on a cite link i see a note related to the citation?
Maybe the page number could from the org-noter note property could also be included so it would be cited?

If this is not possible maybe someone could point me in the right direction to keep track of notes related to a citelink.

I can't think of a good way to do that, or what it would mean for export. I don't totally understand what you want though. You want to click on the link, and have it open your note?

org-ref uses the bibtex-completion functions for notes (see org-ref-open-notes-at-point), maybe you could hack something like this that would parse the path "citeKey note:filePath/nameOfNote" to do what you want.

If I understand correctly I think there are 2 questions to answer.
1- Some sort of integration between org-noter and org-ref
2- An additional feature that can point from a cite-link to a specific note on the notes. From my understanding of the question, this could mean that for example, you have the notes for a book, and you have a heading for each chapter so when you cite the book you want the cite link to point specifically to the heading of the chapter cited rather than just the whole book.

For 1 I can give some insight, based on what I've done for myself.

It's important to use the multiple files options for better compatibility with org-noter, which expects the notes for a pdf to be a single file.

Unfortunately for 2, I don't know if org-ref provides this feature, after all the notes are referenced by pdf rather than by the notes file

Thanks, yes, this is, what i meant. I could have been more clear. Could you explain your workflow with the configuration, you shared?
