Multiple instances of a recognised face on the same image

I'm using Deepstack as a detector with Double Take for Home Assistant.

Today I had some friends over and not only did it recognise me in the image when I wasn't, it also assumed both friends were the same person (me). Neither of them uses glasses. I do. Neither of them has a full beard. I do.

Does it make sense to have the same person in an image?
