After Update to V16.0.0 - Error 0x00000004 Cam bad #3666

Hi guys, first of all, thanks for the great idea for reading analog meters. There seems to have been a bug in the new update from version 15.7.0 to version 16.0.0. With version 16.0.0, the following error message appears: 0x00000004 Cam bad After reverting the software to version 15.7.0, the camera is recognized correctly again and the software also works perfectly. To help you further, how can I, as a beginner developer, read the hardware via software and send it to you? According to the order, I installed the following type: ESP32-CAM, QIQIAZI ESP32 CAM MB WiFi/Bluetooth Development Board Dual Core ESP32-CAM-CM Module with Camera OV2640 Do you have any idea what might have been programmed incorrectly in the new software? Or am I doing something wrong with the update? Best regards |

Try a power off. A regular reboot does not work |

Actually I read elsewhere the suggestion to put the cam quality at 12 and this actually seems to have fixed it! I've rebooted several times in a row today and no more issues |

This is generally a good idea, as it appears that controlling the camera via the i2c bus is causing the problem. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that this works. I have a controller that reproducibly ends up with error 0x00000004 after a reboot. The setting did not work despite several attempts. |

the problem got back so setting the quality to 12 wasn't really a solution. Now trying your images @SybexX, first with v2 ... |
