Autofocus is not available in the main version. For autofocus you need to install his firmware. and take a look at that: #2162 (comment) |

Hello everyone,
I recently installed an ESP32-CAM in a tight space where I can't position it too far. As a result, the image is blurry. Following the GitHub Wiki guide, I tried adjusting the focus by removing the glue using a sharp knife, but I broke two cameras, possibly because they were a different model with no rotating mechanism.
I found some ESP32-CAMs OV5640 with autofocus on Amazon and installed one, which works in terms of video feed, but the autofocus functionality doesn't seem to be active. This new camera has a silver metal base and the focus ring does not seem to rotate.
Has anyone faced similar issues? Are there indeed ESP32-CAMs OV5640 that can't have their lens adjusted? Any advice on using autofocus models?
