Just the sort of thing that I was hoping to accomplish with OTE

With OTE, I happened to notice water usage this morning when all should have been quiet. I was able to live-stream video from the meter camera and saw it moving. OMG!

I went all around the house looking for leaks: inside, outside, under the house. Finally I found this.

Seems it had been open all night long. The hose had a nozzle on it that was "closed" and sitting in a nearby flower pot. It was not gushing but definitely leaking. And there was definitely leaking at the spigot as my wife often does not tighten things much and sometimes even forgets to use washers at the connection points.

Not sure when the wife stopped "using" this yesterday but must have been around 6pm or so. At midnight, the meter read 112277.5. Now it reads 112280. So that is 2.5 cu ft or 18.7 gallons wasted since midnight.
