Please use https://weblate.org/nb/hosting/ instead. It is a better tool, libre software, and actually gratis for libre software projects. (As opposed to Crowdin which offers no gratis hosting to projects that have a source of income). Weblate can also be self-hosted. I'll help out once I see it on there.

Thanks, but it‘s free due to the crowdin sponsoring for TYPO3 and extensions. Since crowdin is supported by core this should be easy going.

Since this project is opensource without any income this should be ok.

In the terms and conditions it says you can't decide against contributing to their translation memory by doing it, that is hardly "free".
Besides, "free" what, it is not as good a tool IMO, and it spies on users. https://support.crowdin.com/cookies/ see jitsi/jitsi-meet#5056 (comment) for a breakdown.
There is no recourse in self-hosting Crowdin, tying yourself to the platfrom just lets them take you and your translator community hostage over your ability to move it quickly, come time for them deciding they want to, like Transifex done.
