Rescuing my old VHS family video captures

Thank you so much for this project. I have a collection of old family videos. Poorly encoded or captured. Re-encoded over time.

I tried various commercial video upscalers and the results were awful. Maybe incorrect settings but no matter what I tried the nuance in the old grainy video was lost even if I added grain later.

Video2X with the RealSR NCNN Vulcan algorithm is doing a great job in fixing and upscaling wrecked 240p video without losing the nuances. It's still not great but viewable. They are memories afterall.
