State of Brod with regards of next year deprecation #644

Kafka 4.0 (not Confluent, actual Kafka upstream) is dropping support for old versions of a big list of the binary protocol's API calls for the first time since like 0.10.0. They're deprecated now, will be disabled and result in call failures starting in February 2026 for Confluent Cloud (dunno which future version that maps to), and were supposed to include joingroup v0 and v1, but that has been "undeprecated" (more on this later).
What is the plan with Brod to keep up? this is coming soon, and it seems this is going to be a problem unless some work is started now to get it ready.
