Hey! We have all you need to make this dream come true. Karakeep has an excellent API, and if you have that skills, it should be possible - we would love to see that in our community-projects. But the main reason for Karakeep is a little bit different - see Readme. Best Michael |

I read something recently that a big group of people, give up on bookmarking tools because they don't actually ever go back to their bookmarks to use them. And i can sort of relate at one point my phone had 150 tabs open of stuff i wanted to go back to and eventually just closed because i never used em or they got outdated and weren't worth reading anymore...
Then i recalled someone that ran a ai-newsletter that just aggregated things and sent weekly recaps on stuff that you may have missed, and thought wait that would be cool for a bookmarking tool.
We've already got AI Integration, we've got internal archives of the pages, what if karakeep had a way to enable weekly, daily, monthly (selectable) recaps / reminders of things you've bookmarked, and put together a nice newsletter of new releases you bookmarked, images you bookmarked, and pages, and used AI to summarize them and put together a summary and then maybe use AI to pop interesting things about the bookmarks to the top, a nice clean AI recap newsletter you get from your selfhosted bookmark tool could lead to more bookmarking and cool recaps and reminder email newsletters to remind you you had looked at something cool earlier in the week.
