Bug - Seeing TransferEncodingError: 400, message='Not enough data for satisfy transfer length header.'

Hi, we're seeing this error after migrating to this transport. TransferEncodingError: 400, message='Not enough data for satisfy transfer length header.'

I think httpx used to gracefully handle this error so we'd not see it on errors. Since moving to this transport we see this error on CI/CD.

All the tests are passing, so the minimal repro code gonna be very useful here!
