Keybindings not working for me

Describe the bug
Not of the keyboard bindings are working for me. I even went and changed them to my own key combination and they still wouldn't work.

To Reproduce
I highlight a word in the preview window and hit cmd+option+b but it does not become bold. Then I rebind it to cmd+option+ctrl+1 and it still doesn't work. But if I highlight a word and hit the wysiwyg "B" button, it becomes bold. Why don't the keybindings work?

Additional context
I'm using the Cursor IDE which is built on top of VS Code.
