wyzesense config error

To the best of my knowledge I have followed all the instruction's but when I validate my config before restarting HA I get the following error:

"Platform error binary_sensor.wyzesense - Integration 'wyzesense' not found."

how did you install the integration? i stopped using hacs quite some time ago and just manually copy the (edited) files in the repository to my custom components folder since i use a few custom fixes now.
