Use case
A link that can be shared to a group chat to allow signing up to a list without the list being publicly visible or needing to embedd the signup form on an external page. This woulb be usefull to manage semi private list, like a newsletter for former club members, it does not need to be super private, having anyone sign up that is visiting the homepage of the club that has other list for non members would not be great either.
Solution proposal
This new sign up link option could be an item like public and privat for the type field when editing a list. The name could be link. The link is generated and shown on the edit page of the list when typ "link" is selected.
Alternatively every list could always have a link that allows sing up that is shown on the edit page of the list.
The link could lead to a page under the listmonk domain that gives an interface like the one already used for signing up to public list.

To start a unique sign up link out-of-the-box for a public lists would be nice improvement. For most use cases it would make sense to point users to a specific newsletter, instead of default signup for everything.
Link only or semi-hidden would be nice. I dont necessary need all my lists to be publicly viewable.
A work around is possible for public lists, but it doesnt work for private lists --> #2251
Thank you for sharing that workaround @ilmtr! I agree that an out-of-the-box, unique link for each public list would be a huge improvement.

In the absence of that, I would recommend turning off the Public Subscription sign-up page option:
Instead, set all the lists (member list, non-member list) to Public, and use the HTML form builder to create unique forms for each list. Set up a page on your website to embed the forms:
I've learned (from testing) that when contacts go to Manage their subscriptions (via the Unsubscribe link in the footer), they'll only see the lists they've subscribed to, as opposed to all the public list options available. Private lists don't even show up.
The only place all the Public lists seem to be shown is the Public Subscription sign-up page.
