macOS Keybinding for quick-access-panel

Hi.

Per the documentation (here) for the Quake-like quick access panel, on macOS:

"In kitty, run the above command to show the quick access window, then close it by running the command again or pressing ctrl+d. Now go to System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->General and set a shortcut for the Quick access to kitty entry."

I've followed these instructions (ran kitten quick-access-terminal, then ctrl-d to dismiss the panel), then navigated to "System Settings->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->General" but there is no "Quick access to kitty" entry there.

In "System Settings->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->Files and Folders" there are entries for "New kitty Tab Here", "New kitty Window Here" and "Open with kitty".

No clue, works on every macOS machine I have ever heard of. Make ure kitty is up to date and try rebooting your machine.

@jonwilts, I had the same problem...

Running with sudo then ctrl+d helped 🎉. Give it a shot!

sudo kitten quick-access-terminal

Tried even running sudo kitten quick-access-terminal in my case, no luck.
there is no "General" in my case. 100% same case with op
(In "System Settings->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->Files and Folders" there are entries for "New kitty Tab Here", "New kitty Window Here" and "Open with kitty".)

@moemoeq I was able to make the General section to appear:

1. Open Applications in Finder
2. Right-click kitty and select Show package contents
3. Once inside find kitty-quick-access application and run it

4. Exit by ^d

This caused the General section to be available in Keyboard shortcuts for me.
