I have a problem with pyfes. I installed an older version of Python, also installing Pyfes, but I still have the same error. What could be the solution?

I am facing a similar problem as well. I keep on getting PermissionError even after running the Anaconda prompt as administrator.

Hi @kvos .

I am facing a similar trouble in using FES. I already edited the filepath with the absolute path, but I keep on getting this error.

Thank you!

I finally have figured this out. You need to store the netCDF files outside of their folders to avoid PermissionError. My mistake was unzipping them inside a folder with similar name (an automatic function in Windows). Maybe you should try this remedy @leandrof-ing as you haven't moved on yet with this issue.

I'm facing another issue right now which is memory error, but I saw previous threads about it.

good job. Didn't know about that issue with the extraction. Yes pls look at the issue which provides a script to clip the netcdf files to avoid the MemoryError

Yes, Killian. I was able to resolve the memory as well by clipping the netcdf files. I am dealing with another issue related to beach slope estimation but I'll just open another thread for it. Thank you!
