The `TypeAbstractions` pragma breaks builds with "older" GHCs

The TypeAbstractions pragma, used in Text.Pandoc.CrossRef.Util.Generic, was added in GHC 9.8.1. Compilation with older GHCs therefore fails now. That includes GHC 9.4.7, which is the GHC version that's shipped in Ubuntu LTS 24.04.

It would be nice if that GHC version could still be supported. Alternatively, it might make sense to raise the lower bound for base to 4.19 (currently: 4.16) to let cabal catch that dependency early.

Meh, I'm not a fan of supporting outdated compiler versions, it's been a few years, stackage lts has been on 9.10 for a while, 9.4 is really quite old at this point.

As for bumping base, noted, thanks for the heads-up. Slipped my notice, should've been bumped a fair while ago.

Yeah, that's fair. It's a bit of a headache for pandoc/dockerfiles, but I'll manage 😄
