Livebook on K8s

I have deployed livebook on k8. The pod is running and I m able to access the livebook service via node port. But the issue is, when I try excecuting the veglite plot that is there as an example, I do not get the graphs. Im using the docker latest image for livebook. Any reason why this would happen. It evalutes the codes but does not show the graphs.

Please try :edge, otherwise Livebook requires you to make the /public namespace available outside your proxy: https://github.com/livebook-dev/livebook/blob/main/lib/livebook_web/router.ex#L43

Thanks for your response. But why would it not work on a pod which is exposed outside via nodeport? When I use the docker image locally and run Im able to access or evaluate and see the vegalite graphs. But when I use on the one which is deployed on k8s its not working.

It is a difference between iframes on http and https.

In addition to :edge (:v0.10.0 coming out later today) you need to use Kino v0.10.

The issue is that the /public endpoints of your Livebook instance need to be accessible without any kind of auth or strict checks. The VegaLite chart is rendered in an iframe served from a different origin and content within the iframe makes requests to /public endpoints of your Livebook instance. We made a recent improvement to fallback to a CDN, but it's on Livebook main currently (hence :edge).

This is unrelated to the password/token. In any case, if you do want to disable pass/token for your own reasons, then please see the docs in README. :)

I did try the edge version same issue. The graphs are not shown. Where and how do I make the changes for /public access without auth or strict checks?
