Delay when starting Recording on Windows #528

Describe the bug
When recording on windows there is a small delay of around 1 second until the audio is recorded (differs depending on the codec) Also the first second of the recording is not clear audiowise.
Is this a limitation of the underlying windows MediaFoundation API or could this be improved?
Would this be improved using the WASAPI or miniaudio instead, as there is a lot of delay and overhead with the mediafoundation, as I've heard.
