What is the current contribution status of this library ?

Hello maintainers!

We are currently considering to integrate vee-validate for our form validation needs and we'd like to know what's the current contribution status of this lib.

Is it actively being contributed to ? Or is it in maintenance mode ?

I'm asking because I saw that the last commit is two months old, and there's a beta-0 release for v5.

It's a bit confusing for us 😅 And we'd like to pick a lib with an active community so we can also contribute to it!

More of a maintenance mode for now unfortunately, while there are no big plans at the moment releasing v5 depends on whether we can backfill some of the features that got deprecated due to fully switching to standard schema APIs, so I got it in beta in the meanwhile to solve Zod v4 issues for some folks.

Once things settle a bit on my end I will try to go through the issues and triage them. Any help is welcome of course if you want to contribute.

I'm currently actively working on Formwerk if you would be interested in trying it out.

That's a bit of a bummer, I just spent a long time migrating all my forms from vuelidate to vee-validate 😂.

Will FormWerk be the new evolution of this vee-validate then? And will it be simple enough to migrate when it becomes stable? At the moment I would like to use the latest zod, but I'm hesitant to use the vee-validate beta in case there are issues and this project is otherwise dead.

@logaretm What would you recommend existing users to do at the moment? And thank you for your generous and amazing work. 👍

@logaretm I hope you are planning to at least release stable version of current beta release. Do you have any specific plan for Veeavalidate? In our company we are using it all the time and it plays big part of our work since we have a lot of forms.
