The next step for loklak deployments is to ensure it runs reliably on Google Cloud with Kubernetes.

Please set up loklak on Google Cloud with Kubernetes and test it. Update the documentation where necessary and share a link to your deployment.

@singhpratyush Hi, I have tried deploying loklak_server on google cloud using kubernetes but it does not seem to work as expected. I have used cloud shell for the deployment process. Here is what I have done

I cloned the repo and entered into the project directory.
Build the container image using
docker build -t gcr.io/${PROJECT_ID}/loklak-image:v1 .
Then pushed the image
gcloud docker -- push gcr.io/${PROJECT_ID}/loklak-image:v1

Created container cluster :
gcloud container clusters create loklak-cluster --num-nodes=3

Deployed the application
kubectl run loklak --image=gcr.io/${PROJECT_ID}/loklak-image:v1 --port 9000

And finally exposed the application
kubectl expose deployment loklak --type=LoadBalancer --port 9000

However when I point my browser to http://<external-ip>:9000 the browser is showing unable to connect

Where am I going wrong?
Do I need to make any changes to Dockerfile

@djmgit: In the Dockerfile, the exposed ports are 80 and 443. So you need to use the same ports while kubectl running.

$ kubectl run loklak --image=gcr.io/${PROJECT_ID}/loklak-image:v1 --port 80
