I'm not sure if this is a Disqus thing or a Wordpress thing, but the verbiage above multiple comments isn't worded in the plural. Two comments reads:

"Showing 2 comment"

Is this still an issue? I'm not seeing it. We've upgraded the disqus plugin multiple times since this was filed.
