Motivation and Context

Currently, users of Iris have no convenient way to locate previous chat messages or conversations relevant to their queries. As the number of interactions grows, this makes it increasingly difficult to retrieve useful information or follow up on past topics.

Introducing a "Search Chats" functionality will significantly improve the usability of the chat interface. It aligns Iris with common UX patterns in modern chat and LLM systems (e.g. ChatGPT’s “Search” bar) and helps users quickly find relevant discussions or solutions.

Implement a "Search Chats" bar in the Iris dashboard that allows users to type in a query and see a list of matching messages or conversations.
