[Feature request] save history

Is there a way to save the history or select it all and copy it (eg. select the top, press shift and use the scroll bar to the bottom to select it all).

What do you mean by "history"? The command history is in ~/.bash_history, which is independent of the terminal emulator.

Also, saving the output doesn't depend on the terminal emulator.

The scrollback buffer is the history of the output.
