  • Plotting in longitude-latitude projection is now working properly.

  • The README (now README.md) file is now in markdown format, and this NEWS.md file has been added.

  • Lazy loading of spheRlab data sets is now enabled.

  • The relatively new R function get0 is not used anymore to ensure compatibility with older R versions.

  • New function(s): sl.segment (used internally to truncate polygons)
