green amber red

The colour of a rule indicates ???

I see green (rule activated)
I see amber (passed due to OR)
I see red (syntax error ???)
I see grey (rule not met)

when tested with a url that activates a red coloured rule it changes to green and indicates the rule was activated.
but when using said rule on a live server I see internal server error 500 ???

so my suggestion is: provide a little more info regarding the colours vs validity of a given rule
