But the problem with display block is that what it emits is expected to be convertible back to an object. This is not generally the case with the type of pretty print you want, which brings us back to custom string writers/readers. In the case in question, we want to just show the person, not the project because it's redundant in this context. This should be handle-able. Let's try and revisit...
