Reported in micromamba-releases:

From this answer it seems that we cannot rename an environment through micromamba. Is this true? I regularly need that and conda can do this. I do not think it makes sense remaking a whole environment because we cannot rename the old one. Is there a reason why this is implemented in conda but not in micromamba?

Hey @acampove!
Unfortunately this is not supported in micromamba but is a feature that we would like to implement in the future (cf. #3535).
Closing this issue as the mentioned one above is tracking it.
