Long EXPORTING PDF job not reflected on UI

• User download any volume of Gannibal or Sushiscans.net.
• Download went fine, its marked as finished in UI.

But the catch is : User selected "PDF" as output. All images are WEBP (like Volume 2).

For a few MINUTES now, the pdf is being created and there is no indication about that in UI.
It seems to take ages and the temp file keep growing up.

I dont know if it will even succeed.

For testing, wait a few minutes after i force image format detection on Sushiscans.

Turn out work is done async after pdf.end().

Edit : As for CBZ, "Download" indicator stays grayed until zip is created i guess BUT its still taking a very long time"

The VERY LONG TIME is an Antivirus issue. Turning it off make the pdf creation for a volume (200+ pages full of webp) taking something like 10 seconds. Still, its interesting to know.

And it doesnt solve the issue that pdf may still 'being created" when the job is over in ui.

It makes me think: does the job queue should only be for downloads? Should we include exporter as part of the job ? Can we get a callback or an event when file is finally created? In case creation is not finished shall we warn the user not to close Hakuneko?

Which frontend?
I think in Fluent-Core a spinner is shown during the Status.Processing status of the download task

This IS Fluentcore. Download are finished and UI show its green. But PDF creation isnt over.

• Without AV it took something like 10 seconds.
• With AV its taking more than 5 minutes .

pdf.end() actually write data to file BUT its taking some time and there is no spinner..

Cannot be reproduced on my end with Fluent-Core.
After download is finished, the progress bar is set to 0% and the processing spinner is shown.
After saving PDF is finished, the progress bar is set to 100% and the green checkmark is shown.

It should be the same in classic UI, we're using the same status hook. Mike can you test ?

Didnt check Volume 1 but if you wanna reproduce it, at least use the same volume :D
