Translation into other languages

Hi. Can you please tell me how I can help with translating the Launcher into Russian?

Hi! I would appreciate some help with the translation of the Launcher!

For help with the translation, you can download the file I am attaching. It is entirely in English, just translate it into Russian and then send it back to me here. As soon as I can, I will test and incorporate the translation into the Launcher and if everything works as expected, I will release the update for everyone.

One thing to note is that a small number of UI elements are untranslatable, with English being the default. Examples of such elements are some Software names, Author names, some ComboBox values, etc. But the number of UI elements that are untranslatable at the moment is VERY small.

If you have any questions about anything during the translation, just ask here! :)

PS: After downloading the file, change its extension to "XAML" (which is the default extension). I needed to change it to the "TXT" extension per GitHub's upload form requirement.

There's a bit more than half of the text left to translate, so to not waste any time, could you please tell me in what context the word 'DISMISS' is used? Line: <system:String x:Key="launcher_toast_dismiss">DISMISS</system:String>

As soon as possible I will test it and incorporate it into the Launcher. But to be honest, it might take a while since I've been very busy and also the update itself will take some time to be built since I have some things to change in the Launcher as well.

Anyway, as soon as I have some free time I will work on it.

It was an interesting experience. I can say that the translation was done for each line manually. Of course, not without the help of a translator, but with obligatory corrections of the text, taking into account the meaning, names, sentence structure and other things. The size of the text was taken into account, for example, where it was obvious that it was a button - and other little things about the translation :)

As for my name, you can just use the nickname “Skelmer”.

Hi! I wanted to let you know that I just released version 1.5.0 with your Russian translation included, as well as other changes to the Launcher! :)

I really apologize for the delay in releasing the update, I was really VERY busy.

If possible, I would like to know if everything is as expected with the translation! According to the tests I did, everything worked without any problems, but it would be nice to hear from you. :)

Hi. Don't worry, it's no big deal :)

I had a quick run through all the sections of the launcher. The only thing I noticed was that the dropdowns in the settings didn't translate. I understand that the localisation file was not responsible for this. Didn't fit the ‘reinstall’ ("переустановить") text in the patch section - but that's minor stuff. Recommended mods only with Russian localisation have description ‘#ERROR-DESCRIPTION-UNVAILABLE#’. Everything else turned out more than cool :)

I see. Really. It's like I explained before, unfortunately some UI elements are not translatable, and English is the default language. As for the Re-Install button, I fixed this issue by making the word "переустановить" in lowercase letters, which made the word fit!

As for the description of the recommended mods, it's actually a bug, I missed a language check in the mods catalog display. Unfortunately, the recommended mods catalog is only available online and there is no localization for it... :/

I'll release an update soon with these fixes!
